Mobile Safety Solution

Benefon Life Line is a solution for small organisations and professional users with high requirements of employee safety. Benefon Life Line consists of Benefon Life Line software including Benefon Mapware CD-ROM with map of one country and a Benefon Track One instrument. The new solution will be useful e.g. in security and delivery businesses, for police, social workers, home nurses, field engineers and taxi drivers. This combination guarantees that help can be sent fast to the right location if needed.

Field Management and Emergency Backup

Benefon Life Line software is used as a back-end application and can be locally installed and located in a service centre or in the customer premises. Employees can send emergency messages and location updates to the service centre and service centre can request an employee's position as well. The location of the employee can be seen on a map in the software and the operational officer can then call help to the right location.

Benefon Life Line is available with maps providing detailed coverage for several countries (see screenshots N1, N2, N3, N4). Map content is provided by Tele Atlas.

Benefon terminals as field units and tracking software used as a service centre enable the following main functionalities:

- Emergency (receiving emergency messages)
- Position update (requesting position, receiving position)
- Tracking (position updates with specified intervals)
